The Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) Scaffold Tower is an alternative to alloy scaffold towers where electrical equipment or electrical wiring is being installed or repaired.

This offers users extra features and benefits over the standard alloy scaffold tower:

• High visibility colour.
• Non-conductive, so is safer from spark risks.
• Non-corrosive, safer on chemical plants etc.
• Cleaner to handle as does not oxidise.
• Available for 1.8m and 2.5m platform lengths.
• Tower Heights shown are to the "safe working height".
• Handrail is 1m below safe working height.
• Platform deck is 2m below safe working height.

Therefore a 4.2m working height scaffold tower has a handrail of 3.2m and a platform deck of 2.2m.
